This session will provide students with a strong understanding of the basics of kidnap and ransom coverages. Often misunderstood and undersold, this coverage can make or break not only the financial health of a company, but the health and safety of its owners and key employees. Exposures are more widespread than agents or insureds imagine. Several carriers offer coverage, and the quality of forms, coverage enhancements, and value-added services varies.
After taking this course, students will know how to:
• Respond to common misconceptions about K&R and how it works
• Identify who needs the coverage
• Overcome objections regarding purchase
• Evaluate the variety of offerings in the marketplace
