Storm Wilkins
Storm Wilkins is the Principal of Precedent Corporate Training, LLC. Precedent provides training in the legal aspects of the property casualty industry. Ms. Wilkins has written dozens of courses which have been approved for continuing education credit in numerous states. She is also the author of a book, The Law of Evidence: The 7 Most Important Things for Claims Professionals to Understand.
Ms. Wilkins’ experience and education make her uniquely qualified to write and train on the legal aspects of the property casualty industry. She has considerable expertise in the area of property casualty law and litigation. She is an attorney who is admitted to both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars. Ms. Wilkins began her legal career in 1990 as a litigator. In 1995, she entered the insurance industry. She has worked for State Farm, ACE American Insurance Company, and the AAA Mid-Atlantic Insurance Group. She has served as a claims handler, trial counsel, coverage counsel and as an assistant general counsel. Ms. Wilkins has hands on experience as an insurance defense litigator. She has successfully tried hundreds of cases before judges, juries and arbitration panels.
Storm Wilkins is a 1990 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, one of the top ten law schools in the nation. Prior to attending Penn Law, she received her undergraduate degree cum laude from the American University in Washington, D.C. She continued her professional education by obtaining her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. She is certified by the Society of Insurance Trainers and Educators as an Insurance Training Professional (ITP). She may be the only lawyer in the country with both the CPCU and ITP designations. Ms. Wilkins was an Adjunct Professor at the Drexel University Law School in Philadelphia.
