Class Description
Compared to more common property insurance policies, National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) policy forms are actually quite intriguing. First, the Federal government wrote them; and second, they use terms and conditions not found in other property policy forms.
Although the three flood policy forms are designed to look and read like their property form counterparts, there are provisions and conditions unique to the flood forms. This two-part series digs into the flood forms and unique provisions used by the Federal government in the application of flood coverage.
Participants in this webinar will learn and be able to apply:
- The three NFIP flood forms;
- The difference between emergency and regular program communities;
- The terms and conditions unique to flood coverage;
- Definitions unique to flood policies; and
- Problems with CoBRA zones and OPA’s
