The frequency of natural disasters has been pretty significant over the past few years. Whether it's flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes or wildfires, the onslaught of claims and problems begins to flow to the staff in insurance agencies.

This session will examine some of the issues that insurance agencies face after natural disasters. Subjects will include business income and extra expense claims associated with off premises utility failure, the lack of adequate flood insurance, unique endorsements that exclude coverage, loss of internet, phone service, and electricity at agencies, additional living expense coverage under a homeowners policy, and civil authority coverage under ISO commercial property forms.
