Most insurance brokers/agents have some sort of agency management system which puts them at risk for E & O lawsuits that will require electronic data to be discoverable in all actions. There have been constant challenges in using these systems correctly with proper workflows; using the system "correctly" according to management directives and making sure all staff is utilizing the system in a consistent fashion to protect the agency from E & O litigation.

This course will discuss the pitfalls of using the system such as:

• Not having a "clear, decisive" communication as to how the system MUST be used
• Not understanding the system
• Not everyone using the system
• Not everyone having the same technical abilities
• Not performing company and peer audits on the system
• Resistance and stubbornness
