We will explore:

  • New products and non-traditional products both as to Business and Consumer trends and the Insurance that may be needed as a result. In essence, looking beyond the horizon
  • Given some of these trends- will the industry use Insurance or Risk Transfer methods to risk avoidance? How will these issues be managed? Consider including the issues regarding digital currency, reputational risk, and autonomous vehicles (land and air). The innovations raise issues in the insurance industry and solutions are needed now. Every one of the new technologies to be explored will have repercussions effecting the following Coverages: GL, Property, D&O/ EPLI/ Fiduciary and Cyber Liability. New coverages will emerge as a result.
  • The Industry has seen a rapid rise in New Delivery Systems especially as to Online Systems and On Line Libraries and Policy Comparisons.  Is this a good thing?
  • What new issues are facing Consumers vs their Broker?
  • How do Implications of Social Media Marketing and Employer and EPLI Liability?
