Specialty Lines Insurance - Coverage or Money for Nothing?
There is a way to win against the sell more model. There's the service better model. Join us as Fred Fisher helps us to discern the potential issues that can arise in specialty lines policies and as you identify those issues, you can better serve the clients and keep them longer.
CGL Master Class - Coverage C and Supplementary Payments
What happens when the injury is small enough that $5,000 or $10,000 would pay for the injured person's bill? Do they really have to file a suit against the insured to get that money? That's where coverage C comes into play. This medical payments coverage makes it possible to handle small claims without a lot of issues. When we've handled medical payments, we will examine a part of the policy that provides for money outside of the liability limits to handle other things, like defense.
Join us in session number six in our CGL Master Class.
Humans and Machines - The Next Insurance Revolution
At its core, insurance is a people business. We help handle the risks that people face. We are people who sell, underwrite, adjust claims and more for other people. So what does the future melding of people and technology hold? Probably not something Borg-like, but join us as Abi brings her session about the combination of people and machines.
Commercial Property Master Class - Additional Coverages, Coverage Extensions, and Optional Coverages
The ISO Commercial Property Policy includes coverages that are not the main coverages but are in some ways just as important as building and business personal property.
This session walks through those other important coverages, such as debris removal, outdoor property, and replacement cost valuation.
Certificates of Insurance: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Certificates of Insurance are the gift that keeps on giving, especially from an E&O perspective. Join us as Casey Roberts reviews 3 specific cases and what the courts say about liability.
CGL Master Class - Coverage B and Selected Exclusions
When most of us think about the CGL policy, we think about the bodily injury and property damage coverage (Coverage A), but there's more to it than that. Sometimes we forget that there is also something called personal and advertising injury that is included on the policy. Coverage B, personal and advertising injury, provides coverage for those offenses that are listed in the definition. Join us as we examine what those offenses are and several exclusions that apply to this coverage.
CGL Coverage - Other Insurance and Allocation
Sometimes it is difficult to know how many occurrences make up the liability claim, or worse, how many policies may respond to the claim. Join us as Joe Junfola helps us with this and other issues that surround CGL Coverage - Other Insurance and Allocation.
Commercial Property Master Class - Covered Property and Property not Covered
When the insured has a commercial property policy, one of the biggest question, is what is actually covered?
Is all of the property that they might own covered?
How do we know what is covered and what isn't?
Is there a way to change what property is covered and what isn't covered?
Leveraging Data to Differentiate Yourself from the Competition
In an industry that is so data reliant as insurance is, it is troubling that some simply don't know how to use the available data to tell their clients' stories. Join us as Frank Pennachio helps us to apply benchmark data and appropriate data analysis to help gain and keep clients longer.
CGL Master Class - Coverage A and Selected Exclusions
When most of us think about the CGL policy, we usually think about bodily injury and property damage. We all understand that there's more to it than that, but that's what we immediately think about.
Join us as we take apart Coverage A in this session. We plan to look at several exclusions and look for ways to deal with those exclusions.
